This walk takes us across the River Lark, alongside the Norah Hanbury-Kelk water meadows and nature reserve, to the village of Barton Mills. We re-cross the River Lark at an old mill and then walk back alongside the river to the Jubilee playing fields eventually returning to our start point.
A combination of pavements, tracks and grassy surfaces; some a little uneven. Can be muddy and slippery in places. A bridge to cross, roads to cross, concrete steps at Barton Mills, and steps at the beginning and end of the walk. Car Parking £FREE

A very pretty walk beside a field and through pasture land, climbing steps up on to a riverbank, where we'll enjoy attractive views of Martlesham Creek and the River Deben on which you are likely to see waterfowl, before continuing beside the river through a boatyard.
Two kissing gates to pass through. Part of the path can be muddy after rain. There are some exposed roots and a climb up approximately 20 small steps at the end of the walk. Car parking £FREE. Donations welcome.
